The Liberation Project seeks to expand services to extend to a new mission field in the Brazoria County.
Keeping in line with the mission, the Liberation Project seeks to continue to address needs encompassing a wide array of social as well as economic development issues. The Liberation Project services include housing development efforts, a homebuyer assistance program, food/clothing programs, alcohol and drug programs and support groups, and Youth Intervention / Prevention program and all missional efforts of the church which include utility assistance, housing assistance, housing repair assistance, housing, and community development.
Our main goal is to offer Child/Youth Supportive Services by offering mentoring programs in partnership with area schools. The Liberation Project also plans to offer non-crisis support
groups with flexible and multiple times during the week for children/youth and families. Classes
that offer social and emotional guidance with licensed and professional counselors.
Additionally, afterschool programming that support children/youth through early childhood to
preparing them for college. We have a proven model that has successfully yielded a plethora of students that have gone on to college and significantly decreased the area dropout rate.
Our mentors connect with students and wholeheartedly make a commitment to ensure their
success and assimilation into society. It is also our plan to open a fully functional food pantry to
help support the need to feed several families monthly.
